9) Lucid Telepathy: The Hang Glider

The folks on the Sethworks Internet Mailing List call themselves "Moose." In mid November of 1995, they decided to gather in the dream state for a group party that they called the "Moosequerade."

On that same Friday night my local Seth group helped me "send" a telepathic target out into the Mooser airwaves. The target was a little figurine of a hang glider. Since it's actually a Christmas ornament, it has an attached string. The Seth group concentrated on the ornament as they passed it around their circle. Dangling by the string, the hang glider dipped, swayed and twirled around and around.

The pilot's uniform is gold, red and green. The kite-shaped wing is white, gold, red, green and blue. All these colors were mentioned in the dream reports. Just to contrast: there was no mention of "purple," for example. The dreams had more movement than most. There were a greater-than-usual number of references to flying, floating and out-of-body. One of the "Moosequerade" dreams was lucid.

I was dreaming that I had my fingers in chicken wire. Both hands were holding onto the chicken wire. I was swinging back and forth on the chicken wire which was extremely elastic. I was falling great distances and swinging back up. Suddenly, I knew I could control this dream and I realized it was a camouflage for being out of body. I took control and decided to visit Zurich where my brother lives. I saw the planet from very high up and zoomed down to find Europe, then Switzerland, then I was flying over Zurich. Saw lots of buildings, some with signs, but no people. Pretty cool. Now I can't wait to go to bed at night to see what will happen next.

The swinging and swaying hang glider pilot is holding onto a brass wire, about the width of chicken wire.
