2) Lucid Clairvoyance: Secret Dream Partner
During the Firebird Rising Project (Summer, 1992),
team members were directed to dream of their, as yet unknown, partners.
Participants had sent their photos to me, so I created colored copies and
placed each a sealed envelope. Then I sent the envelopes out in a packet
of information, including the directions for dreaming:
- Place the envelope with the photo under your pillow.
- Dream and record your dreams.
- Only then, open the envelope and look at the photo.
- Send in your dreams and comments.
Ana Marie Fortin had a lucid dream on August 10th during which she reached
under her pillow for her Secret Dream Partner envelope.
By the time I open the envelope, it has already changed in form (typical
for a dream). I go ahead anyway and look at the contents. I find several
mail-order forms and finally a few pictures. The pictures are not photos
but drawings like those you find in those packages of fashion patterns you
buy at fabric stores.
The drawings/pictures did not have too much details or color. One was
a woman with long hair and the other of a woman with short hair and glasses
that made me think of Linda. |
Upon waking, Ana Marie drew quick sketch of a long-haired woman. Her
dream partner was long-haired Bev Heart (D'Urso). |
