The Super Hero Presentation, 6/22/92
I am looking downward, where I see a sea of feet, including mine, all
dressed in sturdy, business shoes. The person to my right has men's shoes.
My eyes travel up his pant leg and torso to his face. I see he is a Black
man with a large chest, dressed in a gray suit. He's looking at me with
a quizzical look. We are standing in a row with other people. When I move
to the back of the room to get a better look at where I am, the Black man
follows.
Here, at the back of the room, I can see that this is an elementary school
classroom, filled with adults. All are dressed in business attire and are
in the process of seating themselves at the classroom desks. I know that
they are all awaiting a presentation, to be given by a Super Hero. Suddenly
I know that I am a Super Hero and could give the presentation without anyone
having to wait any more.
This gray business suit I'm wearing (like one worn while I worked for
the IRS) is too tight and restrictive. I go out the back and change into
a looser Super Suit. Second hand, I see myself return via a front, side
door on the right. Now I'm wearing a jump suit.
I walk to the middle front of the classroom and begin a speech about
super powers. Then, as part of the presentation, I demonstrate one of the
powersthe power of flight. I lift myself up and fly above the heads
of the people. Though there's no sound of gasping or clapping, I sense they
are somewhat impressed.
I fly out the upper, slanted windows into another room with the look
and feel of thick concrete and metal pipes (like the top of a small gymnasium).
There's no place to get out, so I veer left where there's a slanted slab
of concrete, like a walkway leading up to a window with yellow glass panes.
Because I don't want to land on the slab and want to go outside where I
can really soar, I hope to fly through the window. But I'm not sure I can.
I'm heading for the window when the dream ends.
Note: This dream was precognitive of the 1995 ASD Conference in New York
City. The Black man was Dr. Edward Bruce Bynam. We conversed and sat together
at the back of the room during Monte Ullman's presentation. Later, I gave
a presentation on flying dreams. In a turquoise jump suit. |
